Curiosity about pre-Pere Ubu music lead me to Rocket from the Tomb

(not to be confused with Rocket From the Crypt),

and that lead me to the Deadboys.

I know the Rockets album is a reunion album and not the band in it's prime, so what?

Is there a connection to Pere Ubu or just musical influence. It's been a while, but I don't remember Dave Thomas in other bands.

The original members of Rocket from the Tomb are Dave Thomas, Peter Laughner, Craig Bell ,Cheetah Chrome and Johnny Blitz!
Dave Thomas and Peter Laughner went on to form Pere Ubu while Cheetah Chrome and Johnny Blitz went on to form Deadboys.

Ah. There you go. How is it?

Shofar so good.
It's the kind of disharmony I live for.

Very nice! I'll check it out when you lend it while making $900 dollars a week having fun!

Poor Craig Bell, he formed no bands...

Although, he probably couldn't understand the name "Deadboys" when the superior name is Cheetah Chrome!
